So I had a rough patch late last week right off of a nice upswing. Dropped 3200 in 2 days attempting to 7 table. I ran pretty terrible but I'm sure a lot has to do with me trying to play more tables at a time. I think I'm going to go back to 4 tabling and just focus on playing optimally in a fewer amount of hands.
As for today: 643 hands, +512.60
Mostly 6-7 tabled. Was down most of the session after getting run over a bit early on at 3/6 and then battling back. I did a bit of review afterward and I'm just going to try to stick to 4 tables for my next few sessions. All of my great months have come while 4 tabling, and when I began to try to add more tables, my winrate definitely suffered. Coincidentally, the months I've struggled in recently - September and November - have both been months where I've tried to add in more tables and get more hands in per hour. Hopefully I can stick to 4 tabling and maintaining an optimal level of aggression and self-control. I would not doubt that the more tables (and the more 3bets and check-raises I inevitably face in a shorter period of time) turn me into more of a spewtard, whether it be a calling station or just trying to make too many plays. November is more or less break-even so far after about 14.5k hands. I have been playing more hours, which is something I want to continue. But my winrate has suffered greatly since August, and I'm going to improve on that.
