Bad Marathon Session, Then Recovery

Sunday's Result: 777 hands, +2536.70

Haven't reported in a few days. I had a few rough days last week where I started out really poorly and finished a few sessions with modest losses. I regained some momentum on Friday but then Saturday just crippled me. I played a total of 5.5 hours on Saturday, dropping 2k in my first session (almost 3 hours long) before deciding to play another. I felt like I was playing really well and had some huge momentum in my second session before losing a few coinflips and just being unable to win hands, ending the day down 2.5k after another 2.5 hours of play.

I ended up taking Sunday off to refocus and just take a one day break. I came back today ready to play and I absolutely crushed. The cards were certainly in my favor but I really put in a nice session. After winning a few buy-ins, my brain told me to quit and preserve a win to build momentum but I brushed off that thought and tried to build on the momentum of my session. And build I did. Ended up making over 6 buy-ins and could have kept that going even more if I didn't break to eat.

Here's a really weird hand from today. Villain loved to make plays and would overbet or pot sized bet bluff at every opportunity. I was ready to pick off a bluff here but his sizing here (4.5x the pot) really took me off guard. As the backdoor flush hit, I decided to give him credit and mucked and he showed me QT. I had suspicions that this was another bluff but decided the risk-reward wasn't worth it. I took a few hundred off of him throughout the session:
